By the Grace of God
In coming to grips with the edges of my own intellect, I’ve found great comfort in the following few statements. If the concept of God offends you, you can replace this word with love, higher power, or whatever. My intention is that the value in the message will ring true for you.
To help internalize it, you may want to print this out and hang it somewhere. Of course, I’d probably copy it into a word processor and style it up a bit. For a hanging place, I used the bathroom mirror. 
By the Grace of God ~
All people, including you, are subject to ignorance and are therefore innocent.
In every instance, we can only choose the good which we perceive. No matter how absurd.
There is no need for guilt or blame. Only compassion and a willingness to let humanity be transformed by divinity.
By the Grace of God, we experience both growth and peace.
